Bookkeeper – Accountant

Job Description:

As an Accountant with our organization, your primary responsibilities will include:

-Tracking the organization’s accounts payable and accounts receivable.

-Accurate data entry and maintenance of cash receipts, disbursement journal, and general ledger.

-Preparing bank reconciliations for all bank accounts.

-Comparing monthly and quarterly reports for various funding sources.

-Managing invoice payments, payroll processing, and filing tax returns.

-Taking charge of all day-to-day financial statement preparation and addressing other business-related financial needs.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

-Bilingual Skills: Proficiency in English and Spanish.

-Ability to obtain QuickBooks Certification within the first two months from the Date of Hire.

-Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.

-Strong knowledge of QuickBooks.

-At least two years of relevant work experience in accounting, including experience with US Accounting principles and practices.

US Accounting Experience: The successful candidate must have a demonstrated track record of working with US Accounting principles and practices. This experience is vital to ensure accuracy and compliance with US financial regulations.

A minimum of two monitors to facilitate efficient work processes.

A quiet and dedicated workspace conducive to productivity.

Excellent communication skills with a customer-centric approach, including proficiency in English.
