One of the top full-service landscaping companies in Arizona is seeking an experienced Controller/CFO to oversee and elevate its financial operations. This is an on-site position based in Prescott, AZ, offering the opportunity to work with a reputable company known for its quality, growth, and wide-ranging services offering long-term stability and growth.
About the company:
Our client is a highly respected landscaping provider offering both installation and ongoing maintenance for residential properties-new and existing. Their services include:
- Landscape design, hardscaping, and outdoor living spaces
- Paved driveways, patios, walkways, and outdoor kitchens
- Synthetic turf, sod, decorative rock, and water features
- Irrigation systems, erosion control, and drainage solutions
- Recurring maintenance, snow & brush removal, and fire wise services
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily accounting functions, payroll, AR/AP, and job costing
- Manage financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
- Monitor cash flow and ensure financial health of the business
- Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with regulations
- Collaborate with ownership on financial strategy and growth initiatives
Ideal Candidate:
- 4+ years of experience as a Controller, CFO, or senior finance role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial operations
- Experience in construction, landscaping, or similar industries is a plus
- Proficient in QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of leading finance operations
- Must be based (or willing to relocate to) Prescott, AZ
